i'm also gonna do the same. so far everyone has told me that i'll need aftermarket camber kits. idk if we'll need for the front or just the rear. i'm also wondering if we need aftermarket toe arms. i would advise getting shocks also, unless you just wanna wait until your stock ones blow, (and risk messing ur whole suspension up)

check this sticky for a list of springs, coilovers and shocks: https://g35driver.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65190

one of the most popular shocks for our car is Tokico D-Spec shocks, and brand new they generally run between $550-600.

I'm also in the same situation as you guys. I want to drop my car not spending too much $, but I want to do it the safest way possible not ruining any suspension.

i'm not really an expert on suspension, i just observe some of the talks lately about suspension... it seems pretty much essential to get shocks if you plan on ordering springs. i believe that a decent amount of people also say it is essential to purchase camber arms because the tire life may wear down incredibly if you were to purchase springs and not update your cambers

Most G35 based lowering springs are rather tame and not out of the range that oem shocks can control (except sedan non sport shocks). If the springs your looking at feature higher then oem rear spring rates by more then 10%, I do recommend the switch to aftermarket shocks. That recommendation has nothing to do with the theory concerning shock wear and everything to do with proper control and the owner ride and drive experience.

*Note: Where stiffer or softer then % specs are shown, they are vs any coupe delivered with oem 17's & 18's and any sedan with the sport suspension. Any coupe delivered with oem 19's has much stiffer oem rear springs in comparison (+27%)

Notice that the S-tech's use more front spring stiffness vs the Tanabe's.

Tein H-tech G35 coupe & sedan(fronts are progressive, rears are linear)

^ but does the spring stiffness matter if you get d-spec shock? can't u just adjust them to a stiffer setting?

SFLG35: i might need a good deal on d-specs lmk how much. thanks
