How many of you are running aftermarket springs with stock shocks?

For the coupes, how are the stock shocks holding up? And is it necessary to install camber arms for alignment? Thanks..

stock shocks holding up so far so good. I've been told they'll probably hold up for 1-2 years den you gotta switch them.

Depends how low you drop. with around 0.8" drop, you'll be at the edge of OEM spec. Any more, you should get camber arms for both front and rear.

I see. I'm getting the RS*R Ti2000 springs for coupe which gives a mild drop on my new 19s. Just don't wanna deal with all that work getting them aligned... Thanks for the replies guys.

I have been running Tein 350z H-techs with stock sport shocks on my sedan with no issues for about 5,000 miles. The rear camber is a tiny bit out of spec, but there is no need for camber arms. The 350z H-techs dropped the car around 1-1.2" in the front and back, handling is night and day from the OEM sport springs and I have had 0 problems.

I installed the tein s's on stock shocks with the stock 19" rays forged wheels. I never got an alignment, nor a camber kit and my tread wear is perfectly symmetrical in the rear. So i'm pleased to say the least.

A question to all......how is your ride quality compared to stock with your spring of choice and stock shocks?

Thanks in advance,
Mark
