How long should the stock Brembo rotors last?

Mine are up to 33k and they look excellent. Measured them and they were well within spec. I also was surprised to see that the brake pads also looked pretty good, although on each of the front hubs, the outside pad wore down to almost nothing, while the inside pad was pretty meaty.

You should definitely call Project Nissan up and ask them for the pads, the site sucks.

Again, this brake change is TOO EASY to not take advantage of. It also leave you the opportunity to clean the piston boots of all the gunk and dust deposited. Very very very easy to do and the only cost is a couple of hours...or get some friends to help and buy a pizza. I could have gotten them all done in less than an hour if I had someone helping....cleaning the calipers and waiting 10 mins per brake pad killed how fast I was able to get this done.

Balzac, How long did you pads last? How do you check pads without taking off the wheel? Thanks.

Don't you take wheels off at each 90 day rebalancing and oil change?

There are a ton of places, but PN is teh cheapest. Also if they don't have em, more then likely they are back ordered. Here are some other places I found:

Upgrade motoring, Istoreparts.com, evasivemotorsports.com, performance nissan.

Expect to pay a few bucks more at these places, but if they have them in stock, its well worth the $5 or so bucks!

if you're interested ill hook you up with the place where i got axxis pads from

well, I have almost decided to go with project Mu b-force in front and NS for rear from projectnissan.com

I like the price and if they are even better than stock brembo then I am cool with it.

I just installed my new pads this weekend. Bought a floor jack and the whole setup took about 2-3 hours. I've never worked on a car before and everything was really straightforward. I put in my new Endless Vita Nuova pads and MAN, they're the shiznit =)

BTW, when I was compressing the pistons, I heard squishing sounds from the car. I realized the "squishing" sounds were coming from somewhere near the front of the car. Then i saw this liquid leaking and I believe it was brake fluid. Has this happened to you guys? I'm a little worried I did something wrong and I made it leaky.

Endless pads tho, they're awesome. Bites hard and stops on a dime.
