Lowered people - Chime in

For all those that lowered, how much did you drop and do you need the alginment kit for your drop.

I'm going to drop my car about 0.5" - 0.75". I don't know how it works on the G35C but for my previous Hondas, I didn't have to since the cambers and toes are still within specs unless I drop it more than 1".

Since I don't plan to drop my car much because it's a daily driving, I want to make sure if I need the alighment kit as well.

Thanks

dropped mine 1 up front and .75 in the back...i think they were the setting that came with the tein CS coilovers...i think im off on the back by so little that it did not require a camber kit...just get the life time alignment at firestone

dropped with H&R, manuf. rating that it'll drop 1.1"/1.0", but i think it dropped more like 1.4"/1.2". Alignment is off both at the front and rear, front being more dramatic at -2.0 degrees. I should really get a camber kit, but i haven't yet done so.

tein H for g35c, .75 drop front, .50 drop rear w/ stock shocks.

rear tires are showing some feathering inside, not severe but still not good. handles much sweeter than stock springs, but that little drop makes the car VERY unpractical. (ei. i park on the street when i visit my gf... and not a good neighborhood.)

i really recommend keeping it stock height. nowadays i realize the car is designed to be that height for a reason. but if you really want to drop, you should get camber kits and shocks.* ( *tokico d-spec, which i will be getting soon for myself. )

I dropped my car with Eibach Prokits... it dropped a little more than advertised once it settled. They advertise 1" front and 1.1" rear but it is realistically like 1.25" front and 1.5" rear.

My car is a daily driver as well so I got struts plus front AND rear camber kits.

good luck with the alignment man, i doubt they can get it back in spec. i think you need the kit in order to get back into spec. i like the neg camber and its good for handling as well....to a certain degree

I don't know, but for 03-04, it's all the same. 05-06 - I doubt that there're any difference.

Look under the suspension thread. there is a list of spring rates there. I believe the 03-04 coupes have different spring rates than 05-06. I personaly put Tein 350z H-tech springs on my 06 coupe.

thanks for the feedback. The flat spot, bump, flat spot are usually caused by bent rims. Double check your wheels
