hawk brake pads abnormal brake dust?

many of you know that i've been having a lot of problems with my hawk pads squeeking.. but i noticed something else new today.. my front drivers side rim gets a **** load of brake dust.. it only takes a few stops for it to gather up.. what would have took my oem's about a week to do.... and it only seems to be that side.. my passenger side has little to none.. anyone know what this could mean?

It's possible they could be dragging some or not seated properly. I'd take it back down to have a look before you run into any issues.

I had the same issue on my first set of HPS pads when I used them on a well worn set of rotors. I didn't turn the rotors when I installed the pads based on some advice from a "friend" and had the same type issue. Where your rotors new when you installed the pads? Did you have them turned before you installed? Some squeaking and a lot of brake dust build up on the rims almost like a dusty deposit of ash from a fire. Anyhow when I got my new rotors and new pads the problem went away. I am not using HPS on the fronts anymore, I switched to AXISS based on stoptech's advice, but brake dust is no longer a problem on the front or rears.
