Stillen/Volk GT-C tire and wheel package?

Has anyone else ordered this package from stillen? I just ordered this and should be here within the next couple of weeks. I forgot to ask Stillen if the rear tires were a mis-print online. It says The back set is 19x9.5 Volk GT-C Silver wheels (37mm offset) w/mounted Michelin Pilot Sport 295/35ZR19 tires. I have never heard of anybody being able to fit 295's on the rear. Is this correct? I need the high offsets in order to clear my Stillen AP racing calipers. Here is the link. http://www.stillen.com/product_detail.aspx?sku=206361

Interesting . . . I am quite anxious to see a 295 on a 9.5 rim. Post pics when you get them, please.

I believe a low offset... sets the face further inside the outer part of the rim...where as the higher offset sets the face of the rim farther away from the outer part of the wheel

and to get back on topic... i believe one or two people have bought that set... i would seriously talk to Chris at F1 motorsports... he can set you up with the right wheels to clear your BBK...and probably be cheaper

The real question is how far the spokes of the wheels are from the calipers. I have seen wheels with spokes that just go straight out to the hub to the rim. Others go outward from the hub then back in towards the centerline of the rim. Stillen says they had it on their red G35. Well I guess I will be the first to post about it. I took a qwik look on the web and could not find 275's in Michelin Pilot Sports, but I found 295's at 500 each. I will take pics as soon as I get them put on. I am curious to see how close my BBK' are to the wheels and will I have any rubbing issues with such a wide wheel.

Alright...here to solve your problem....I recently got the Volk GTC's from stillen as well as the ap racing brakes on all four corners...The 295 is too big of a tire to fit on the rear...When they put these exact wheels with the 295's on the rear it rubbed like crazy...could not even get it out of the parking lot so we ended up putting on 275's for the rear and rolling the fender's a little bit...This resulted in no rubbing and a great rim/wheel/bbk package

Yea, I talked to stillen today. They are sending the new GT-AV same offsets but with 275's. It is a an old ad. They also discovered that using 295's your slip light will come on during a turn because it changes the turn ratio when your car is going around a simple curve.

Pissed at Stillen

Well, Stillen had told me last week that they had my Volk GT-AV wheels and the Michelin Pilots in stock and just had to mount and ballance and ship it out on Friday the 5th. I talked to them today and it was just sent out this morning of the 9th. Apparently they did not have the front tires in until today. It would have been nicer if they could have contacted me when found out. Also, I saw another thread asking if the center caps came with Volk wheels. So I asked Stillen and nope. Told me 6 Weeks back order. Why don't they let you know that when you first purchase the wheels? Well, at least they took the center caps off of another set they had and gave them to me at cost which was still 25.00 each. Normally 37.00 each?

AP brakes dont work with Volk +24 offset

Finally got my new Volk GT-AV 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear with 275/35/ZR19 rear 245/35/ZR19 front Michelin Sport Pilots. Well to make a long story short Stillen said the rear wheels would fit. Well guess again. Rear calipers hit the spokes. Stillen wants me to purchase new extended hub bolts to put a 15mm spacer on. I had to put the original rear brakes on. I dont trust putting on spacers. I am just going to buy a new set of Stoptech brakes which I know will fit and sell my AP brakes.
