lowering springs help
Hi! I'm new to this forum and not so familiar with mods.
I have an '04 coupe and would like to drop it about an inch. I'd like to know which lowering spring is the safest way to use in terms of alignment issues and ride quality without having any needs of camber kits. So any inputs would be very helpful. Thanks!
...and oh...I still be using the oem 18s".

I have Tein S Techs, which lower your car about an inch all around. After letting my springs settle, I got an alignment done and the shop was able to get my rears back to factory spec and the fronts are just a hair off. I asked him about a camber kit and he told me not to bother cuz I would be wasting my money. He could have made more money off of me selling me a camber kit so I really appreciated his honesty.

The Z springs have a stiffer spring rate than the G springs but you can't go wrong with the S Techs for the G either. I have them and love them. I have no complaints whatsoever. I also know a handful of people that also have S Techs and they feel the same way that I do.

I'm a little concern about putting the H techs because the drop might not be that noticable.
Oh hexxum001...don't you just love your laser red? I didn't know the clear corners would look good with it. I'd probably get myself a set as well.

Honestly, I don't really feel much of a difference from stock. I have an 05 6MT so my G came with the sport suspension that is already pretty stiff. So the ride is a little bit stiffer than that. As far as the drop, I don't know if it is quite 1.5 inches but it is over an inch. It looks nice mang. If you wanna see the difference, look at pix of Tinman's car and my car. Tinman has H Techs and I have S Techs.
YES!!!! I love Laser Red. I have a thing for red cars anyways but it is just so freakin sexy. Definitely get clear corners. No matter what color your G is, it just looks so much better.
