Is/was this a good deal?

For a 2006 Sedan, 24 month lease. 12000k per year, and sunroof package.

24 month lease
3000 down
305 a month

I've been told from some people that this was an impossible deal.

was it a 3000 down payment, or 3000 out of pocket?

u could hav a $0 down payment, which is what i did, but it cost me 1500 out of pocket, which consisted of taxes up front, dmv fees, bank fee, first months payment, etc.

Yea, the 3000 included all the fees and stuff and the first payment as well as the down.

so in effect, what was your exact down payment, probably like, 1200-1500?

ok so out of the 3000 that I paid up front,

2202.53 went to cap cost reduction
305 went to first month payment
257 went to registration fees
181 went to tax on cap cost reduction
45 for dealer doc prep
8 for CA tire...

which adds up to 3000

total amount I will be paying after the 24 month lease is over is 10015.23 , which is pretty much the 3000 + 23 payments of 305.01

(the fleet manager gave me a quarter so my payments would be a flat $305 because the computer would only let him do 305.01 and I told him I wont pay 1 cent over 305... loll it was pretty funny)

well..if it's not an X, the invoice of your car should be just around $30,000, whether it's auto or manual, so i guess your price was decent for the price of your car.

what city and state do you live in? some people get the wrong info on money down vs paying taxes and fees up front.

how do car companies expect you to only drive 10 or 12 000 miles a year ... where i live you could maybe drive to the grocery store a few times a month.
