Im looking to buy a G35 coupe real soon.. maybe within the next 3 weeks. Looking to buy a 04 because i dont want high payments but i want a nice car. Want to get a Manual transmission but living in the bay area and traffic will just be a pain and i may just go with an automatic. I got a few questions im hoping i can get helped with.

What are the main differences between the 03 and the 04?
- Is the interior different as in different design? Anything obvious?

The All wheel drive was introduced on the 2004 model correct? Do all G35's have AWD? or only certain models do? As far as i know there are 2 major models for G35. Manual and automatic. A few features are extra such as improved sports performance are options. If not all cars have AWD how can i find out if they have AWD?

Whats the most common issue with these cars?

Anything i should look out for when buying one?

AWD is on the 4 door version... the 2 doors are RWD...

 

I cant think any changes that was obvious, if any changes at all, do remember some early 03's have differnt center armrest(or lack of it) than later 03's.

No AWD on the coupes and manual coupes come with "sport" package already.

Nothing really major, things like window motors, premature wear on the brake pads and rotors, rear axle need to be greased(ticking sound), rattling, some reported having transmisson/clutch issues.

i don't own a G35 but i'm pretty sure that the diff between 03 and 04 is the rear end looks different with the infiniti logo on the 03 being in a square like the nissan skyline in japan and the 04 just has INFINITI across the back and no box.

Also the brakes for an 03 were supposed to wear very quickly which they fixed in the middle of 03 along with the logo on th back of the car.

I hope to be joining you but I want an 05 which has 20 more hp in the automatic and a nicer interior!

 

Are you talking about the sedans? in early 03's sedan there is an squarish box on the trunk but the later in that year there was no box (not sure which month), the whole trunk lid is smooth no out line of the box, but the 03 and 04 coupe's trunk is all the same.

Infiniti did not improve the brakes until 05, hence the brake warraty for 03 and 04's auto trans.

You must talking about the sedan again, cus 03/04/05/06's automatic coupe all have 280HP and 05/06's manual coupe has 298HP.
