G35 , CLK55 AMG or Boxster S
Now i know this is a g35 site so, this is going to be somewhat bias, but i like the G35 the 208 CLK55 AMG and the Boxster S, but im asking you guys if you had a choice what would you take and why, a 2004ish G35 coupe, and 2001 CLK55 AMG, or a 2002ish Porsche Boxster S, all amazing cars, so whats up guys what do you think?

when you smoke em they'll be like wtf...get it done up by renntech...there are alot of nice aftermarket tuner out there for it...i've seen a clk55 in person with a
kleeman supercharger...it was soo sick...but to answer your question i think they both look equally as good but imo the clk55 will be more impressive fixed up...

Personally, I'm not interested in automatics so I'd take the CLK off the list.
The G and the Boxster are entirely different cars - the G being more luxurious and practical, while the Boxster is the better handling car with a convertible roof.
I would actually lean toward a Boxster if you had a 2nd car and/or do frequent autocrosses or track days. The G would be my choice if you only have one car and need a jack of all trades type of car.

You've gotta be kidding me [with you're last 2 sentences].
The G35 coupe 6MT has been shown to do much better at the track than the 02-06 Boxster.
The Boxster would be a car for a non-enthusiast...
The Boxster couldnt even keep up with an S2000, RX8, and 350Z in most track reviews I've seen [that are credible].

Isnt that benz like $20-30g more then the G? That's not even in the same class really. Sweet car though. I lean towards some of the same opinions here. If you are buying new and have a warranty then the CLK55AMG is cool. If getting used I wouldn't expect the same quality or repair prices of an Infinity or almost anything else in the Infinity range.
Like mentioned if your intention is to modify the car then it will be real expensive to do the benz and you just don't see too many out there, which makes it cool but still $$$. And the Boxster just doesn't seem like a real sports car to me. I just think of an old, fat, bald guy who can't get a real Porsche and is having a midlife crisis driving that car. Sorry to anyone who is. I personally just feel the G offers a bit of everything, younger styling, comfort of any luxury car, and the performance to match almost anything else in it's price range. This is all just my opinion which seems what you are asking for here. I don't have a G yet but this is why I am looking into them for myself. In any case just get what you like.
Like someone else mentioned in a post I was reading earlier, if you are really looking at one car and buy a different one no matter how good it is you just won't like it as much. Get what YOU want and what makes you happy behind the wheel.
Best of luck,
-Shawn
