Should I sign this lease? Yay or Nay

Ok heres the deal,

I got offered a 15 month lease on a 07' auto G35 for $1650 and $299 a month.

I think it is a great deal especially because of the term, but there has to be a catch. Any tips on what to ask for? I am a newb when it comes to new cars as this will be a first and also a huge step from my first gen Nissan Altima.

Im seriously considering going and signing this within the next few days if it is a good deal.

Thanks alot guys this forum is great.
Thanks in advance!

i'm no expert on leasing/purchasing, contracts and the like. but a 15 month lease seems to be something i'd stay away from. although the down and monthly are good, i'm sure there's some sort of clause (someone chime in here).

After doing some more research on these forums, I found that quite a few people have leased the same way. It is a promotion for March.

Any more help guys, I'm heading out to the dealer in a couple hours.

well it depends on wat options ur getting and if you like it, r u putting taxes up front or are they in ur payment? what exactly does that 1650 consist of? there's nothing wrong with a 15 month lease, i'm at the tail end of a 12 month lease i got last yr from infiniti and trying to work out a deal for a 15 month one now.

Well I went there today and the deal changed, I am getting a FULLY LOADED 6MT. I will pay the taxes upfront and the bank fee, and only 1500 down compared to 1650.

Yea, I also find it hard to believe. So I am kind of worried that something might be up

That sounds amazing but make sure you are not paying way over the MSRP. Just my experience, I went to the dealer here in NY today and I was quoted $499.00 per month with about $1790(bank fee+taxes+1st month). this is 15 month lease with 12k per year. THe car is 07 automatic G coupe, with MSRP of $37,040 (sports package+mudguard+sunroof) and finally he was willing to sell for $34,895 that now includes spoiler. Also the residual value he said was 65% at the end of 15 month. Let me know guys.

P.S: to add the spoiler, the dealer quoted $595, isnt this overpriced???

Wait a minute, why would I negotiate the price of the car if my payments are set. What difference does it make for me. I am not going to buy the car after the lease ends.

honestly, it sounds like a good deal. one of my best friends got $300/month for a fully loaded 6MT last year for the 12 month lease program, and had around $2000 out of pocket i think, so just look at everything before you sign, as far as fees and them making you pay anything else up front. if you just have to give your $1500 and you get your car, sign away and take it and i wish u luck!
