Question 07 g35 v.s. 08 g37 DILEMMA

I have a very big dilemma. I have 4k saved as of right now. I have recently viewed the new pics of the G37, am very disappointed. i was hoping for something very similar to wat the 1st gen "G's" looked like, but instead they did what lexus did with the 1st gen IS300. Made it look ugly. I am curious on how long a brand new 07 G35 will still be available once the 08 G37 come out? have they stopped production on the 07 G35's??? how cheap will the G35's be when the 08 G37's come out ????? Could i possibly get any cool stuff thrown in to the deal becasue of the arrival of the 08 model??? Has anyone had any experience with any Las Vegas, NV dealerships???? thanxs for any comment or advice, it will help me in deciding on a G35 or a BMW or any other car. Thanks.

I don't know when will the new G coupe will be available but I just got a 07 6MT coupe recently and I am loving it so far. I'd say take a good deal lease if your local dealer have one and upgrade to the new G coupe when it became available. Well, it's just my $.02

Wait for the G37. I think once it comes out you will be wishing you did not get the G35 because of the smaller engine and dated look.

I'm sure there will be some left over 07s when the 08 models come out and you'll get a pretty good deal for them.

I know the 08s are a bit controversial in the looks dept., but I would really wait and see one in person and in different colors to make final judgement.

If the sedan situation was any indication of what is to come, there will be a good number of coupes left on the lot after the '08 come out. I am a salesman in MD and actually still have one brand new 2006 G35x for sale with less than 1000 miles (not a manager demo). I wouldn't count on saving loads of money after the new ones come out... Infiniti gave a dealer payout a couple months ago of roughly $2000 for every remaining 2006 Sedan in stock. That means, if I were to sell it right now for cost I could knock roughly $5500 off sticker. The most important thing you can remember is buy the exact car you want at a price that makes you feel good. A car you don't want to drive for the next couple of years even at 10,000 off is still a bad deal.

I will comment here on the Las Vegas Towbin Infiniti dealer -

They are good and I haven't had any problems with them yet, but they are expensive. You will not be able to get them down to prices other dealerships are going to around the country due to the fact that the same people own both Infiniti dealerships in Vegas. Other than they, there service is good and they are mod friendly as far as I can tell.

Hope this helps.

Well on Friday after i sold my Civic i had about 10k to put down on a G35. I went to the dealership and tried my luck. I tested this sexy *** G35. The G35 had prem. pkg., painted mud guards, painted body molding, sport suspension(?), and i think the aero kit (does the wing come with the areo kit or kan u get it seperate?). I am trading in my brothers 2007 scion for 14000, but he owes 15500. I think i am gonna see if i kan pay the 1500 he owes, so it doesn't carry over in to the G35's payment. The said they are going to give meeh the 3.9% intrest rate. I am gonna ask for $ 34k w/ tax and fee's incld. OTD, with that price i will have a $367 payment and have only paid $2080 more after 60 mnths.

this was done at the towbin infiniti dealership here in vegas let meeh know wat u think.

I'm not too sure if 34K invoice is possible for a G35C with all the packages that you've mentioned, let alone OTD. But if its true, I'm taking the next flight to Vegas.

Wait until the G37 comes out and drive both the G35 and G37 and then decide which car is best for you. Mcchurchmouse is right, if you don't like the car, it won't matter how much you saved.
