Hey i just bought my 2007 G35 coupe yesterday but the dealer couldnt find the G35 coupe i wanted with my packages in stock, my packages are prem/aero/nav/sports no rear active steering, and they told me that there going to locate the vehical from a differnt state or dealer (im in NY btw) i just wanted to know what does locate mean and how long is the process gona take? and is there a chance of me not reciving the G35 with my packages ? and has this ever happened to you?

What do you mean "you dont know"? you "bought" it and pay for it (financed/leased) without knowing when it will be here?

Dealership can find out the inventory around their area in about 30 secs, might take few minutes longer to search the entire contry, there used to be "inventory search" on the Infiniti's website, that anyone could go and find out excatly what dealership have, fairly up to date.

You should have them search for it first to see if there is one around before you actually "bought" it, cus now? they will be in no hurry to get one over to you. If they do find one? it should not take very long to get it over, of course it depends how far the car is at, and how long for both dealer to hammer out an deal for it, to either trade it for future allocation or actually money change hands.

that means that they haven't located it yet. maybe that means they're ordering it from the factory, custom made with your options.

Or maybe they're doing vehicle swaps with their dealership with another dealership so u can have your car. Anyways, call and find out.

 

Same here, i have been waiting for 2 days for a phone call for the dealer to call and update me if they found a car or not. Im just thinking of canceling, or do I have to call and bug them?

I would assume they would be trying to finish the deal asap.
