how much is my 05 worth

i have a 05 black coupe with tan interior. its automatic with about 20k miles on it.. i bought extended warranty on it and i have lojacks installed. i want to know how much i can get for it. im want to trade it in for a 05 6 speed. i dont want to lose alot of money by doing this. but im not happy with my auto anymore . im bored with it.

Doh! Be ready to take a few grand hit. Just wait it out and get an '08 6MT.

see i dont want to modify a brand new car. i mean i could afford it but modifying a brand new car worries me. i go through cars fast. keeping them for a 2 or 3 years at the most . i think i can sacrafice a couple grand to make me happy.

If you say you go through cars fast, why did you feel the need to buy extended warranty? Also, if you're buying these cars new and replacing them every 2-3 years, you must have too much money on your hand. You're taking the depreciation hit on every new car you own only to sell it 2-3 years down the road. If you don't plan to modify your cars aside from wheels and minor things, consider leasing. Yes you get nothing at the end of the lease but at least you're not taking as big of a hit on depreciation every 2-3 years buying a new car especially if you select cars that retain their resale value.

u might be able to trade it into a dealership, for a MT 05, that way you can get tax advantage. be prepare to lose $3k cash.

i bought the extended warranty cause i didnt know how long i was gonna keep the car. and they worked in good deal for me. nah i dont have alot of money i bought the car as a comfortable car to drive to school. now im bored with it. i should have got a 6spd. if i dont lose more than 2k then i will trade.

yeah thats what i was thinking. i might just keep the car another year then trade it for a 06 or 07 . idk yet. or maybe trade in for a new z

Wait until summer, that way you can check out the G37. Trade it in for that... I have the same problem, I get bored quick and I've never kept a car over 2 years lol... I always buy though so I loose money... I'm leasing the G37 or the new sedan next.
