Any advantages to financing through Infiniti?

I think 3.9% is only good for new/current models like 07. Anything older will be higher rate.

well, used cars almost always have rates that are a point higher than their new counterparts... if that's what you meant.

best rate I can find is 5.9

What is the "tri state" area?

Tri-state area = NJ, NY and CT.

Those promortional rates ended April.... not sure if they are continuing for May.... also it can vary dealer to dealer as well.

he means markup on the rate. it's legal and it's a profit center for a dealer. ie the bank offers a rate of 3% and the dealer sells the rate of 5%. The 2% difference is pure profit to the dealer. your deal looks like a 5% rate for all intents and purposes.
