hmm, all these ppl paying 480+/month for a lease doesnt soudn right to me. I am guessing you should be able to jump into an 07 G35 sedan w/ 0 down for 400/month...I see alot of MSRP quotes...I didnt know the G35 sedan goes for 36-38k...

I would first negotiate the price of the car down to 33k (loaded more or less) then say 'Oh BTW its a lease...'

I cant see how some of you are paying 500+/month on this car...

I would be shocked if you could get a loaded G for 33K. I'm pretty sure that is *under* invoice and let's face it those deals aren't that common - especially on a first year car.

I dont think there are any great lease specials going on right now either (low money factors or high residuals). I purchased my G, but to get a lease payment anywhere near 400 you are going to have to not only get an invoice deal, but also put some cash down which is not very smart in my opinion.

current lease offer

2007 Infiniti G35 Journey auto
39 mos
$389/month
3450 down + 389 first month
12k miles /year

Sounds like a better deal to me than what everyone else got...granted however its the journey...but still

Well, that price is base on the G35 with MSRP of 32615 which it have no options at all! not sure how many ppl purchase G35 without any options, and you still need to add DMV fees and sales tax onto that 3450, in Cal that will be about 700 more on top of it, plus sales tax on the monthly payments, If one dont put anything down except fees? you will be looking at around 480 per months plus tax. So I dont think its much better than some of ppl who posted here, consider others have 4~6k more on the MSRP with around 50 bucks more or so per month.

Just in case you still think that was a better deal? do you know how much they taken off from MSRP to get to that monthly payment?...Nothing, not a cent off!!!, you can not judge the lease deal from one's monthly payment.

3450 down
Ummmmm, looks like quite a bit of cash down to me...... Thats a teaser to get you in the showroom. Like limeg35 said, to get that deal you would have to order the car becuase I am betting there arent any base g35's sitting on any lots.

If that is for the Journey then it isn't a no options model. The journey has quite a lot of options on it standard unlike the "base" models of previous years.

Check out this link and see if you still think it is a base model with no options.

With MSRP of 32615 it is an Journey with 5AT without added options, Yes, Joureny model have more features than Base model, but they are standard features build into that model and not the "options" that customers can pick and choose. You cant compare that monthly payment with most of ppl here who had added "options" on their G35, which would reflect in higher monthly payment.

You are certainly correct. I misunderstood what you were saying. My fault. Sorry about that and thank you for clarifying as well.

Umm.. loaded for $33K? See attatched pic from Edmunds.com, this is the car i got for about $37,500. Let me know how you would have negotiated down to $33k ($3600 BELOW INVOICE?)
Seriously.

Tell me something, do you really think thats the invoice price??

I purchased my 2004 G35 Coupe with the following

XM, splash guards, aero kit (spoiler, lip), premium package, sport package w/ 18s and VLSD (MSRP/sticker was 36760)

I paid $32450 INCLUDING taxes/tags/title...

Tell me again how much invoice is...

BTW I purchased late july 2004 (july 23 to be exact near the end of the month) and I walked out on the dealership 2x, the last time before I signed the finance guy chased me out into the parking lot...

I'll be purchasing (most likely) a 07 sedan.

Options
G35X
Premium NO NAV

I promise you I'll get this car for 33-34k MAX out the door (includes taxes/tags). No I dont know anybody at the dealership, nor do I get any 'special discounts'. I do get VPP from my work, but its only the plan D which is 1.65% off of Invoice which translates to maybe 600-700. However, I know with my negotiating I can get a price lower than my VPP...

Hahaha...maybe you could share with us your "negotiaing" skills...I like to know how you were able to get your G with 4k below invoice, you make it sounds pretty easy, cus you think everyone esle should able to get 4k off invoice.

How do you went from normal 2k off MSRP at that time in your area, to 6k or more off? ...You must have one heck of negotiaing skillz...

^^that was before I purchased and the 'MSRP' actually adds stupid things like 'trunk mat' and some other extras (XM radio). The MSRP on my coupe (I'll snap a pic of the window sticker, yes I still kept it ) was 36,760. And I can show you my contract as well where it states 'BOTTOM LINE' 32450!!
