I think I got screwed.

First of all, I love love love love my new car.

I got a 2007 G35, Sport, Automatic, rear wheel drive, premium package, with the navi.

36 month lease

$37,695 Cap Cost

Then $534.21 "cap cost reduction"
$148 registration fees
$68.50 FL fees
$595 Dealer Acq fee.

All in all I had to pay $2k out of pocket (with taxes) and then $582.55 a month with everything -- and that includes the fact that they suckered me into the tire warranty.

Is that a horrible deal? Even if it is, I still love the car and it's spread out over the lease.

That actually makes me feel a little bit better. I got a fully loaded Sport, with the premium package and the navi, 36 months vs. 39 months, and only $2k down total.

Is that cap cost of $37,695 already include the tire warrenty? as far as I can tell the MSRP on it its around 40115 and invoice is about 36.6k, so its about 1k over invice.

Assume your sales tax rate is 6 %? to get to 582 a months? it will be 55% residual and about 5.3% interest rate (.0022), so you didnt really got "screwed", can you do better? perhaps, but you already got the car and just enjoy it!

The cap cost doesn't include the warranty.

I didn't get screwed. Just having a little buyer's remorse in the pocketbook.

Love love the car still. Not a second of remorse for the actual car. Just wondering if I paid too much.

I agree that I could have done better, but didn't get a red hot poker in the rear either.

Here's the deal I negotiated...

I got my 2007 coupe the other day - automatic, sport & premium packages for $399/mo. 39 month lease with 0 down, 12k year. I put 9 security deposits down however (that I will get back at the end of the lease) to get the payment down.

WOW the lease numbers don’t sound so good anymore. I have heard people are leasing BMW 335i’s for $535 per month with comparable terms. You have a better car in my opinion though.

We cant comment on your deal until we know all of the specifics. Your payment is low because you gave them a huge amount of money by trading your car in right? Essentially you just put a large down payment on a lease. Never a good thing in my book.

As I mentioned in a previous thread we are leasing a lot of these right now as IFS is not competitive (as you would not expect them to be on a new model).
