new guy here!! need help with 05 pricing!!

hello all. this is my first post and i need some help on the G35 pricing. I am interested in this 05 G35x, Diamond Graphite, Prem package, and it also has an extended warranty for 5 more years bumper to bumper. I am not sure on the warranty of how it really works. Could someone teach me on the warranty???? is it transferable??? I am not planning on modding the car until its paid off. The seller is asking $25.995 and it ran 20k. pretty low for a 2005. Last time we spoke, I offer him $24k and he said he will call me back. Do you think $24k is little or to much for an 05?? I am looking around and around and i cant seem to find the car I want. I call all the dealers around here and they all said they will call me back next week. I am in need of a car and I can not wait any longer. Maybe I am picky. Who isnt? i am looking for 05 or 06, G35X, white or gray with black or stone and they must have at least the prem package. Anyways.... could you all give me some feeback please... thanks

I got my 05 from a dealer for 25,600.00

Included Pearl white, Prem, Navi, DVD in back, intelkey, 15% Tint all the way around. prem wheels and spoiler. 25k miles.

I think 24k is a pretty good price.

thats a pretty good price. I found a pearl white, 05 X, prem, nav, inkey, with 22k for $25k. it was the color i really want. but the only problems is the interior is yellowish/brownish which looks really old. i would of taken it right away if it was black or stone =(

I paid 24k with 19k miles for my 05 sedan 18 months ago ( not an X). White and DG are fairly common colors, but it may be more difficult to find the interior you want in the AWD-X. It's out there, just may take time for them to find it for you. Check out the online listings through www.ebay.com, www.edmunds.com, www.cars.com to see what is in your area and how much they are asking. You should be able to get it for at least $1000 below whatever price a dealer is asking.

well this one i am interested in is not a dealer. i went all over the place to look. cars.com are mostly dealers and when i call them about 1 car they said they sold it already. this happen to all other.

anyone else think $24k is a decent for an 05 with 20k???

In Socal

I was looking at 2 2005 G35 Sedans recently:

Lakeshore Slate, 26.5k miles, Premium C, Sport. Asking $24k but probably can get them to $22.5k.

Ivory Pearl, 24k miles, Nav, Premium C, Sport with Aero (?? has the spoiler and sides), tint. Asking $26,900, which is definitely not going to happen here. Maybe for $24.5k-$25k.

Really looking for a 2006 here, so I'm still looking. I would imagine with the 2008's coming out soon, all the previous model years are a 'year older' so there should be deals around.

Good luck. On your deal, that looks like a good price, maybe squeeze off another $500 - $1k. You can always walk.

Hey guys. New owner here (well actually my gf is). She just bought an '05 black/black g35 sedan no navi with 21000 miles from a Nissan dealership here in San Diego. We negotiated the 24995 price down to 23500. Do you think we could've negotiated lower?? Or you think we received a good deal??
