Infiniti G35 lease vs Audi A4 lease...

Hello everyone.

I am in the market to lease a new entry lexel luxury sport sedan. Ive looked at TL,A4,328i,IS 250, C300 and of course the G35.

Ive come down to the A4 vs the G35. Fully loaded with an MSRP of 40,5 and an invoice of 38, I have negotiated a 36 month 12k lease with Audi of $469/month with 2k down. The car has basically every option available.

When I went to Infiniti, I test drove a beautiful g35 6-speed with nav, and I loved it. Love the way I feel in the car and love the interior. The sticker was 38k, and they wanted $525 with 2k down. What gives? I know the money factor on the Audi is probably better, but is anyone else getting better lease deals?

I do like the Audi AWD and I think for the price being cheaper than the Infiniti its a better car for the money, but I love the Infiniti inside and out and I feel the interior destroys that of the Audi.

Does this quote sound normal? These guys wouldnt budge.

I owned a A4 before I traded up to the G35.
The Audi us a great car and i loved every minute of it until my transmission died it was replaced then died again 10k later and had to argue to get them to cover it on the warrentee.
you can get the G35 with AWD as well u know?
I have had my g35 for 2 months now and its everybit as good a car as the audi if not more and when it comes to power the G35 in a class above the audi.
I would tell you to get the g35 but if u went for the Audi i would not blame you.

I do believe I like the Infiniti better, but the price is insane.

Cant get AWD in manual though which sucks.

BTW is that a 2.0 or the 3.2 engine on the Audi?
40.5k is a bit low for the 3.2 if it is fully loaded to match the G35 option for option and the best power in the A4 your looking at $44,200.00 on the Audi

to compair what u get with the inifiniti packages
I would really compair the premium and nav packages for $4650 the g35 has makes up about 6 seperate items on the audi

Cold weather package 550.00
Convenience package 1,700.00
Audi navigation system plus w/ iPod interface 2,100.00
AM/FM/SAT* audio package 1,000.00
Preparation for mobile phone (Bluetooth®) 500.00
Audi acoustic parking system 350.00
this is $6200

Go for the G35. I know it's a lease so you wont have out of warranty issues, but the Infiniti is a much better vehicle mechanically. I've always felt the 1.8T and 2.0T engines were pretty anemic. There fun to drive, but not near a G35. I do like their clutch better though!

I picked up a 2008 G35 about 60 days ago. I’ve only got 1250 miles on it but I’ve already formed a strong attachment to it. The only complaint I have is that the mileage isn’t what it should be. Other than that, it is a fine automobile.
Ironically, I had been dealing with the MB dealer prior to getting the G. The C350 is a great car too, but when you add the metallic paint and leather, you add $2250 to the bottom line. Even with that, there were still features that the G has that are not available on the C350. Features like electric telescope/tilt steering column and memory seats, (my wife is 7 inches shorter than I am and we need that feature). The bottom line was that the closest MB to the G was a good $6000 more than the G.

The C350 did come with synthetic oil and 13,000 miles between oil changes. That I would have loved.

I have driven a new E350 and it is a great car with a great ride. Maybe even a better freeway ride than the G, however, I didn’t feel connected with it. It didn’t feel like I was always driving it The MB was similar. Another feature that ruled out my buying the E350 and the TL was that they are front wheel drive. IMO, when HP exceeds, 200, rear wheel drive is the only option.

This said, I would have loved the C350 too. Since I really don’t race the car, the extra 38HP the G has didn’t really enter into the equation. Now, with 1250 miles on it, I wouldn’t give back that 38HP, even it it means 22MPG freeway and 16.9 in town.

My 2 cents worth

I love the power of the G, but its not a HUGE concern to me because I do have a 600rwhp Mustang in my garage.

I must say the only reason saw on audi forums to buy the 2.0/1.8 engines a4s
was the mod ablity of it . and seeing as your going to lease it that make it a moot point.
its a bit apples to oranges compairson a 2.0 to a 3.5 engine
and 106 bhp

how about that new 2008 tt, it looks really sharp but the 2.0 t is barely 200hp and the 3.2 is a decent 250hp, not even close to the G hp so i dont know if i will get that kind of car will it be a upgrade or a downgrade i like the style of it any ways.what do you guys think about it? and yeah speed is controlled by a chip at only 130 MPH so the first thing i will do is take it to a shop to remove it and feel the full power of it
