Went to NYC dealer

I went to the NYC dealer because I didn't thin it was real, and it was, and I had the numbers worked out both ways. I didn't ask about residual or any other numbers, but I did have the '08 G35x priced with a 24mo lease with the premium package only with cargo net and splash guards coming to $263.67/month. ( I also had the guy price 0$ down and that would be $357). This was with the $1995 down which after taxes and fees came to about $2600 out the door. I chose Black obsidian with graphite leather...this was on Friday. They told me they still had to send it to the bank for approval and would be called Monday and could pick the vehicle up on Tuesday. So if I'm approved, based on Tier 0 credit, (score of 750+) then I guess the vehicle is mine. However, I'm still in college (graduating in May with a degree in Chemical Engineering) and don't have a solid job yet but will be working for an oil company starting in June and have a excellent credit score, just shy of 750, so I hope and pray that I'm approved.

So sorry about the long post, but I actually did go and it was legit.

But dumb leasing question...is it solely based on your credit score or that and your income?

Thanks

factory direct.... don't ALL Infiniti dealers buy their cars from Nissan North America?

I mean... it only says on the Monroni that the car was sold to the dealership...

I'm just looking for a good deal. Mike, when leasing, what do they look at for approval? Is it just your credit score?

Credit score, Length of your credit history, number of accounts, total amount of debt, revolving credit available/used, installment accounts, total of monthly minimum commitments, derogatory accounts, type of accounts, etc etc etc... the list is SUPER long.

Generally, 700+ at at least 5 years history with no derogatory accounts and less than 50% debt to income ratio will get you instant approved.

Don't hold me to it if you don't get approved

This is true im sure, but even so, if i get a g35 w/premium at under 350/month and zero down(just pay ~1000 fees at signing) its a great deal, no?

It still seems unreasonably cheap. Ive emailed and hopefully they get back to me and ill get some concrete numbers.

Lets do some math.

2008 G35 Sedan Lease Special

Term $1995 Down $0 Down
24 Month $199 $289
39 Month $249 $309

199*24 = 4776

4776+1995 = 6771

Are you telling me a G35 with a base sticker price of 32000 only devalues 6771 in 2 years? thats only a 21% drop, indicationg a residual of 79%.

Please sign me up, I'll take their entire inventory!

According to others its legit and through Hann Financial and not IFS. If it includes GAP and fees are not outrageous, why not? Wouldnt any dealer be able to work with Hann and get similar terms?
