'05 G35, good deal?

Ok guys, so I totalled my 350Z over the past weekend and am thinking about getting into a G35 coupe. I am looking at a white 05 loaded w/ navi and 19" wheels and sport suspension, only thing missing is a spoiler. The guy is asking 20,800 and has all maintenance records. kicker is the car has 59K miles on it. Is this a good price and how safe is it to buy a G35 with mileage like that? Anything I should look for when checking the car out? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

looks about right.. i would look for any mods on the car..

as for being safe, i think you'll be fine.. there's a handful of g's that hit the 100xxx mark already so I think you'll be okay..

if anything, stock brakes tend to wear out fast, so you might wanna look into that, otherwise just look for the normal stuff, tears in leather, scratches, paint damage, etc.

The car was the wife's car so no mods, and all tires were recently replaced. Also interior and exterior are in mint/near mint condition. I think I may have to jump on this....

I paid $32k with tax for a similarly loaded 06 in december but it had less than 15k.

I think it's a good price for the year and options but that is quite a bit of miles. See what service records they have.

Good price nadeem, I would take it to the local infiniti dealer and have them run a 100-point inspection. It'll cost you around $100-120. Do this before it hits 60K miles so you are still under warranty, and if something other than wear and tear items is wrong, the dealer should take care of it.
Also, you have to decide if you want extended warranty or not before you hit 60K miles.
Check for the common problems... grinding gears, oil consumption, cd player error... search for each of these here and you'll get details.

Ok, so the guy sold th car, thank god because i went by the dealership and found that I HAVE to have a 6mt, auto won't cut it. So I'm going to go take a look at another G tomorrow, an 05 w/ 27K on the clock, loaded w/ 19's and sport susp., except for navi & spoiler. Dealer is asking 24K, how does that sound?

Spoiler will cost you $500 and will come painted to match. I put mine on myself in less than an hour. Kit is very complete and very easy to install.

No nav is kinda of a bummer because adding it is expensive and not an easy task. I use mine only occasionally so after the intial gee that's cool factor wore off I could live without it.

27k you still have half your warranty left. The other car being traded in with 59k was not an accident. whoever had it ditched it right before the warranty ran out.

I'd take it for 24k if the color was right
