which g coupe u pick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so here it is , as many of you guys know ny is problably the best place to buy a car they are really cheaper than anywere in the us ... anyways ive always wanted a g coupe navi 6mt dont really car about the year .. ive been looking for about a year for the right deal because im cheap .. anyways i found a 04 6mt coupe with 49kmiles no navi clean title for 13,500 bottom line price and this was about 7 months ago .. anyways i backed out because i really wanted the navi and i dont wanna settele for less .. but anyways now i found another deal that i really like ..
06 6mt coupe navi 55kmiles for 17,900 price neg ,dsller is dealer
or an 03 6mt navi 53kmiles for 16,800 bottom line price private seller
both have clean titles i will post up links of both as well

finally my question is which one would you choose and y ?

and also should i just wait untill spring (may or june) and save on insuarnce and wait for gcoupes to go down more or get one now .. i would be saving around 7 or 8k for monthly payments plus insurance for those couple months

please guys give me your honest opinions please .. thanks

the more recent car is usually better

personally for roughly only a grand difference in price I would go for the 06. It's three years younger, that's three winters where the car's plastics weren't freezing (east coast right?), and it wasn't getting salt on the road. It's also more recent so some of the equipment and electronics is probably better than the components used in the car three years older. All in all there are many reasons to pick the newer car, especially if the difference is only one grand.

Good luck and happy driving!

06 >>>>>>> 03

Initially I thought one is 05 and other is 06. Both looked okay to me then and hence I did not reply. Since this is between 06 and 03.. 06 all the way

Newer the better and all the flaws from the previous versions will be corrected in the newer versions

You're getting the '06 for a bit more than $1k more... why not just go for that?

what i dont seem to understand is that when i check kbb on these. according to kbb they are overpriced . but evrey private seller or dealer is selling these coupes for way more some even in the 20 thousand range ... but kbb does not coordinate with these prices .
maybe its a supply and demand issue . can somebody help me understand this

My experience is that KBB is largely ignored, you can't get KBB when you sell your car to a dealer and you always have to pay more when you're on the buying side. In the end, you can only negociate and use KBB as a ball park estimate. If a car is way off KBB then you know something is wrong, otherwise it's just a guideline.

get a mechanic to check out the 06. i would definitely go for the 06 due to the upgraded interior, exterior styling as well as fixing many of the 03 (first year G's) problems. even tho the mileage is similar, the 06 probably has freeway miles while the other either wasn't driven much or has just city miles.. either way they are both good cars, but since the price margin is so slim, definitely go with the 06 unless something is wrong w/ it

I totally agree with that. Most aftermarket GPS are way better and cost a ton less (but not as clean looking as the factory nav).DOMO

I would go for the 06 for several reasons the first being the extra 40hp and rev-up engine. Also you have less body wear even though the mileage is similar. For the price difference I would go for the 06. The only issue is you want to make sure it doesn't have the oil consumption problem before you buy it (it is not likely but you still want to check). I have an 03.5 sedan and love it but would really like the extra horsepower and rev-up engine in the newer G's.

Hope this helps!

aftermarket DD kits are better than the OEM nav.. I guess you didn't do your research on those :P I think they look cleaner than the OEM, althoug it is in a little bit harder location to see while driving, they have way more functionality

The only thing that sucks with putting a DD (or single din) into the 03-04 is the friggin dash kit cost like $200+...BOOOOOO

Not sure if it is the same on the 05-06's but it is a pain in the a$$. Anyone know why they made it so difficult to put aftermarket stereo's and such in the G??
