2005 Coupe 6MT OB Good Deal?
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...00&cardist=111
The dealer alos has 3 more black 6MT on the lot with mileage from 35k-45k. Im going to be financing about 2/3s of the car. Any known issues with that kind of mileage?

Dear lord do not get a tan interior
But yea that's a good deal. I've been looking at 05 OB 6MT coupes too, and they are around 16,000 with 60k miles. I didn't carfax them though.
The car is warrantied 6 years/ 60,000 miles for the drivetrain. There is a problem with Oil Consumption in some 05-07 6MT coupes, so when you buy the car, take it to the dealer and start the OC test immediately. If it has OC, you get a new engine for free. If it doesn't, you have an OC free engine.

Notchy 2nd or 3rd gear(s)? Again, don't consider the car.
Tires have wear marks on the EDGES? pass on the car.
Look for panels that have been replaced.
Just be careful.

I cant stress how important it is to actually drive the car you're looking into.

So I went by and found out that this AutoMax dealership isn't getting thier cars from auctions but that was a good thought. They had multiple 2005's because of leases.
I found a black one with 35k miles Navi 6MT and the black dash/wheat leather interior(stone? I don't know what it's called). The body was immaculate, it seemed like the guy babied it, especially with 35k. The warranty covers the clutch until August so I figured if the clutch is bad then something would come up between now and August. From what I could tell there was no late clutch engagment. I go this Saturday to pick it up. I'm very excited, I'll post pics on Saturday.

Make sure you put something down as a deposit if you really like this car.
If the deposit is refundable then you should be ok. I got burned on a deal like this when I was pursuing my G earlier this year.
There was an 05 IP in St Louis with 14K miles premium sport loaded etc....
I worked out a deal for 22K OTD tax included walk in with check drive out etc....
My folks and I were getting ready to drive out there and the night before the car gets sold. The dealer's words...no deposit no guarantee the car will be there when you want it.
Trust me, if its that good to you then it'll be that good to someone else also hunting down your G.
Sometimes, its like one big scavenger hunt and everyone's after the same prize.
