Good Deal? 2006 Cpe, 5 Spd Auto
Hey,
I am currently looking at purchasing a 2006 G35 Coupe, 5 Speed Auto w/37,400 original miles. the car was a one owner vehicle, and has been garage kept. They are asking $21,195 ... is this a good deal? I see average retail for (per the NADA website) for this particular model / mileage is $27,700+ in my area.
My only concern, is that this car is being sold cheap for a reason. I have test driven it and it drives like a charm.. the only apparent problem that I have noticed, is that the low tire pressure light was lit while test driving. I asked the dealer about this, and they said it was due to low tire pressure on one of the tires, and that it takes a while after the pressure has been corrected for the computer to detect the new pressure reading and clear the pressure indicator light.
does anyone know if the tire pressure indicator light could be indicative of a bigger problem, before I decide to spend the $$$ on this car?
thanks!!

Thanks for the input ... I would definitely like to have this car checked by a authorized dealer, but the only problem with that is that I live about 150 miles from the closest Infiniti dealer. I understand that Nissan dealerships can also work on these cars, but I am not sure if I should really trust my local Nissan dealer, when it comes the mechanics / electronics of a G35? The car is being sold at my a local Ford dealer ...
Also, I just realized the car has less than the amount of miles that I posted originally. the car actually has 35,911 original miles.
options wise, I am uncertain of the exact options that this car has... short of knowing for sure it is the 5spd Auto, w/VDC. Power everything, remote keyless entry/ignition. It also has the premium sound package, sun roof, 6 disc cd changer, and a few other things. drive train wise, besides knowing that it is the 5spd auto w/VDC, I am unsure if it has the rear active steer option or not..
does anyone know of a site that I can use on-line that will tell me complete car features/options from the VIN? or I guess I could probably call an Infiniti dealer for that info?
I will be trading in one of my other vehicles for this vehicle. the vehicle I am trading in is paid for, and the dealer has offered $10k for the trade-in..
So it looks like I will be able to drive off the lot for just a litte over $13k after TTL.. I think I am going to go for it. after all, from what I understand, the car still has roughly 25k miles left on the factory warranty...
