Which 03-06 6MT coupe to get?

Well I was looking to get a 350z and of course the no backseat/no trunk/no luruxy feeling came upon me so I've settled on the 6MT G35 coupe. I've been reading and reading and reading and I see problems with all of these models. Which one will give me the least trouble? I've seen the TSB for the 05-06 6MT's and I've heard of people complaining about pad-wear on the 03-04 and I've also heard about the window motors. Which one would be best for me?

06 Coupe 6MT: Better interior, better exterior (stock sport kit), better engine (revup).

Just make sure it still has warranty (im assuming 95% of 06 Coupes would still have warranty) in case you happen to get one that suffers from excessive oil consumption.

03-04 6MTs will not have brake fade issues since all 03-04 6mt comes with brembos!!! I love em... interior was upgraded n 05 but i still like my 03 interior better except for not have memory seats. 05+ does have the revup which are the ones that have oil consumption issues(but that can also mean a new motor =D). window motors go out on all years if it does happen... aftermarket atuaters are cheap and seem to be better than the OEM.

I love our Brembos, too, but they can be faded pretty easily when pushed.

Are there any changes to the interior from 05-06'? If so, I couldn't find any - only subtle exterior changes. I'm taking a stab at the numbers, but am guesstimating that 1/10 rev-ups consume that has been noticed and reported; and an additional 1-2/10 rev-ups that consume oil that has not been noticed or reported. A higher percentage of G/Z owners take their cars to Joe's Shrimp and Oil Change for their oil services, and my $ is on the fact that the technicians don't know, don't care, and don't tell the customer if 5 quarts or 2.5 quarts of oil were drained.

The SR20 - solid motor.
The VG30 - solid motor.
The VQ35 - solid motor.
The VQ35 "rev-up" was a mistake Nissan made while trying to extract more power while they redesigned for the HR.

Love my 06 6mt. Love the look of exterior and interior. Dont have oil consumption like others. But i do just my oil dipstick frequently. You should check it on most cars anyways.

I just picked up my 03 with 47K on it. I was originally looking for an 05 but ended up getting this for the price. Pretty much only minor changes in the interior like the Tire pressure monitor, the memory seats, the placement of the clock. The Rev up was a big incentive for me but now driving the 03 mt I don't think I can feel the difference from one to the other... so as long as you get a good deal keep your options open.
