$18,700K for 2005 G Coupe?
Hard to say. Lots more autos out there than 6MTs. I'd hope for ~$18k.
So that's like $17.8k before taxes and fees, right? That's not bad. Not great IMO, but not a rip.
My selection here in CA (northern and southern) is copious. Maybe that plays into it. Plus I'm being picky on the interior/exterior color and need a 6MT.
Here is one I've talked to a dealer about: http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...4&aff=national
They said $16.5k over the phone without me even being there, so there is probably a little more squeeze if/when I show up with the cash. Higher mileage than yours, but also about $2k less. My targets are approximately as follows given equal options and fair mileage:
2005: $17k
2006: $18.5k
2007: $20k
On another note, there are some great incentives in buying a new G37, which is also attractive, if you can swing it.

I will still pay the DMV fees back in VA ($600). So it will be $19,100.
I have sort of semi-agreed on $18,500. I wonder if I can still ask for more discount tommorrow when I see the car. I was thinking to ask for another $500 off since it has no spoiler/sports package. The dealer has had this car in his lot since Dec 08.
Thanks for your comments dude. Those are good deals. Haven't seen ones like that on the east coast.

You can always offer less and walk away. They will either come back to get you or if you are really sour about the deal, you can return and buy it. What were they originally asking for it (the sticker on the car)? Is there an ad online for it anywhere you could link to? There are a lot of cars in CA and AZ. Heck, I was looking at carmax and they'll ship one coast-to-coast for about $700.
Check your PM, I send you the link.
They have it listed for $18.8k then - I suppose - add the $200 doc fee for $19k. I like this part of their ad: "This vehicle may or may not have the following options:
Abs camera parking sensors back up all wheel drive 4x4 awd heated seats cooled navigation gps dvd liter hemi hybrid z06 6 speed manual 5 speed automatic auto cummings power stroke diesel sunroof moon roof active laser cruise control Sirius satellite xm radio xenon rear air sport package premium luxury off road fx4 laramie slt third row seat dual lift gate stow and go chrome 20 blue tooth sync spoiler convertible turbo leather limited platinum traction control trailering hd four wheel drive sound Allison twin supercharged king ranch crew cab double cab 22 alloys polished short bed long tow trailer 5th hitch running boards Quattro amg trd electric touring smart key radar tech technology smg nav winter cold journey ultra ultimate rvc rear view z71 ltz cloth harley Davidson 1.8t 5.4 7.3 6.3 6.0 5.7 v8 v10 5.0 6.3 5.9 8.1 4.2 4.8 vsc 4wd infinity wheels 22'' 20'' fifth leather duramax dual ext roadster performance lt entertainment gt anniversary type s exl exl"
LOL
Anyway, KBB is a sham targeted for dealers. KBB also allows the dealer to ad items as options that are already standard as part of a specific package. They are asking $18.8 - fact of the matter is that the price is negotiable, regardless of whether they call that the "no haggle" price or not. Carmax does that same crap with the no haggle price - it is not.
