26.7k for 06 coupe. Deal?

I'm a new army reserve recruit and with my 20k+ enlistment bonuses I'm thinking about purchasing the vehicle with a big wad of cash. I've been following G35driver.com from the sidelines and been wanting a coupe for years now. A buddy of mine has his IP sitting outside as I type away

Vehicle is 6MT with 25k miles. OB coupe equipped with nav. and rear spoiler. Interior is wheat (black on black combo is tough to find around New england)

Price seems high so I'm concerned. My other choice is a base model 2008 350z for 23k if the Infiniti dealer wont except my wad of cash

Price seems very high. I just bought an '06 6MT Coupe (DG with Stone interior) for $20k. It didn't have nav, and had a few more miles(40k), but had brand new Toyo T1Rs, rear active steer, aero, premium, sport packages.

I'd say offer them 22-23k and see what they say. I definitely wouldn't go over 24k.

KBB has 06 coupes at around 24k miles in excellent condition for about 20k~

I wouldn't pay over 22k.

Honestly, if I were you, I'd try to find an 03-04 with brembos and a 6speed. You could get it cheaper, and have some more $$$ to throw at mods.

Just my .02

It's what I would've done instead of buying a NEW 06 like I did

damn dude hot the hell did you get twenty? the only people i've seen who get that high are national guardsmen and 88m truck drivers haha

anyways sorry to go off topic a bit but i'm sure it'll help you. just know that your initial sign on bonus you don't get all right away..you'll get half of it after basic/ait then your second half is broken in another two halves. so after basic/ait you'll be getting around 10k (before taxes) then after two yrs in the service you'll get 5k (before taxes) then sometime in your remaining years you'll get the other 5k (before taxes)..just so you know so you don't get your hopes up about getting a lump sum and getting a new car

I understand the bonus situation. it will be awhile before I get anything but i've been saving alot with my part time jobs, recruited some buddies with me so thats some extra money and ill be using the GI bill and kicker. Thank you for the heads up though, appreciated.

also,

Thanks everyone for their great advice. I'll use this knowledge to stay away from high priced cars of all sorts. again- greatly appreciated.

ps. that IP offer around Fort Benning is really tempting
