the car has 99k miles though...and he says the body is mint..no mechanical problems..
this is the perfect combo that ive been searching for but the miles are just a little iffy..
would i run into any kind of problems after 100k?

Not bad. But get the following information:
oil changes, timing chain, belts and stuff. These are the normal things that go under everday driving. Also whens the last time the clutch has been changed etc.

Nice car man...pretty good price... just make sure u can afford repairs and maintaining it... just bought my 04 wit 107k for 10500....u should probably plan on replacing ..drive belts and ac belt, clutch, master cylinder, brakes, things like that...usually a timing chain is good for life of the engine...only in rare circumstances does a timing chain need to be replaced...usually manual is drivin' harder than auto just because its fun to drive it harder and make those red line shifts...just be ready to fix stuff if things break.. these motors can make it well over 200k - 250k miles.
^^^thanks for the replies guys!
to jdmprelude..
if u dont mind me asking..how much did all those maintenance jobs run you after the purchase of your car?
and whats your average mpg on a full tank? i get mixed reviews on this question..
i see that u came from the honda family too! i just sold my 94 sivtec GSR today and plan on getting a G! =)

planning on do everything the next 3 weekends...going to pick up tranny fluid, rear differential oil, and belts at dealership tonight...
Tranny fluid 10 quarts to be safe at 8-11 bucks a quart = $100
Rear diff oil amsoil 4 quarts at 7 bucks a quart = $30
OEM drive belt and ac belt i think its 30 bucks each not sure...=$60
Radiator flush and new coolant fluid = $40
Ngk spark plugs * 6 = $50
Free labor (ME under the car) + $230 in parts
vs
Stealership would probably charge 230 parts + 700 labor for the same job.
then im doing all the fun stuff next weekend first set of upgrades...
5/16 plenium spacer copper iso thermal =275
UTR Carbon fiber Z tube = 140
JWT pop charger = 110
Black Betty Grounding wires = 85
Tokico HP's w/ Tein S Tech springs = 450
NRG hood dampers = 100
NRG Front Strut brace = 150
then few more weeks
Ebc Slotted rotors w/ red stuff pads
Front & Rear Camber kit
B quiet dampen the whole car
Total $1500 for the first set of upgrades and the start of my new money pit....i told myself I wasnt gonna mod this car ...but after i joined this forum i cant resist...thanks alot guys...
& for the guy that is debating on buying it...buy it you'll love it .... but just be prepared to spend money
