i say go for the 05 but find out how bad the accident was and if the repair job was done right

If a car is not showing a clean history I would offer at least $3,000 below their asking price. I would also try to do some checking as to what they mean by "slight" damage, find out what was repaired and the repair cost. Not really sure from your post who is actually certifying the car but most manufacturer's dealers cannot certify a car that has been involved in an accident or does not have a clean CarFax.

Did auto check on both 04 is 2 owner clean no accidents 05 is one owner but states had slight accident but still has certified auto check. Which one should I jump on and if I do go for the 05 what should I offer OTD.
Thanks
I might be wrong, but I believe the '05 has the auto-rev match in the auto, so when you downshift it's a much much smoother transition. Drive both and you'll notice. I think being that you're getting an Auto, that might be worthwhile.Originally Posted by onebadgs400

I agree, the only reason I got my 04 was for the brakes (which are much much better than OE Infiniti brakes, btw). The interior on 05+ is much nice/better quality. Plus the spoiler and wheels look better.
Another reason to buy the 05 is that its probably still is under warranty, that way you can bitch about everything on your car and get it fixed for free
And another year on the powertrain warranty.
