a throw out bearing cost 8 dollars...and is replaced when you change out the clutch

Look for one with lower miles. I bought my '06 back in August with 17K on the clock for 21.5K with everything except Nav. Be patient, there are some good deals out there!

I have an 04 with 60K miles and I have a few small problems but nothing to sell/not buy a car for. I would say that car is a good deal, considering I had offers close to that for my car and mine is 2 years older.

An 04 w60K miles is alot different from an 06 with 60K miles. An 04 is two whole years of extra driving. My other concern is that for the type of work that i do I will be putting on average 100+ miles per day on this car so i'm thinking that i should wait for one with a little less mileage. But here in TX theyre going for $21K and up they're even trying to get $21K for the 05's

Oh, one more thing i've been researching getting a G35 Coupe for about 3 months, and I think that Dude did get hosed on that price of $27K that he paid for his 06.

Since i'm a potentially new owner of a G35 Coupe. Is the maintenance expensive for the coupe's? I heard that the Tires, Brakes, and minor problems can be expensive.

Hey so what should I Look for while looking for a coupe? i'm planning on purchasing before the end of this month. I dont understand the "Oil Consumption" thing, is that something that I should look for prior to purchase, or is that only certain models?
I'm thinking that i'm only going to find one that has about 45-50K miles are there certain major engine things that i should look for?

I have an 04 6MT coupe. It has 84k miles on it. I daily drive it and most of the miles are babied highway driving (300 plus miles each way at least 3 times a month). I have not put 1 cent into my car besides oil and filters. The car is a brick. I have mods done to it as well but everything is perfect. I love the car and wouldn't question the reliability at all.

I live in Houston and am also purchasing a G35 coupe. I found a lzr red 06 with 38k miles for $20k. There are quite a few out there (at least in Houston) but MT are hard to find and cost about $4k more. Also the same car certified by Infiniti with the extended warranty is about $6k more.

just my $0.02

Way to maintain the car... Thing probably has 1" of crud on the airfilter, and brown fluids besides the engine oil.

Yeah my car was certified and is an MT and not a lot around here cheap anyway. they want close to full price in PA for any infiniti MT. so all in all I got mine at 29k for 25 after 4k down still have remaining warranty like I said for 30k and I plan to modify it after that if not before. but I love it and don't really care that I payed that much, got the sport package included also, don't know it that's stock with 06 or optional haven't looked into that.
