2004 G35 4 Door...need advise
I'm looking at a 2004 G35 Sedan. Twilight Blue Pearl, 58k miles, sunroof, leather, heated seats, 2wd, in-dash cd changer, automatic, no spoiler. This is a 1 owner car with all kinds of service records. The only body work ever done was a painted bumper. No wreck, just a scuff or something. What would be a good price for this car. They are asking $13,500. I checked the NADA and KBB, and it 'seems' good, but just curious on "owners" thoughts of the color and options. Thanks guys.

I recently purchased a twilight blue 06x sedan and love it. I don't know much about the rwd version but I would imagine they are the same in performance and comfort. I love mine and I paid much more than you did $21k out the door with 28k miles. Price seems decent and in the end you have to like/want what your buying, good luck to you.
My thoughts on the color? Outstanding. Twilight Blue with Graphite was the only reason I was considering a 2004 instead of a 2005. Well, that and there were still a few that were Certified when I bought my car (would have had the dealer by the short hairs since a few were within weeks of losing their CPO status).
The price they're asking is right about where it should be. The 1-owner with lots of records is a big plus, but, I would echo Blue Dream's comment about having a mechanic check it out. And at least as important is to get the VIN checked out by Carfax or Autocheck. If it passes both those tests, mechanic and paper trail, it's a good deal. You should try to talk them down a little, but private party deals usually aren't as flexible on the pricing. Of course, a dealer would have this car listed at $16K rather than $13.5K.
