GTO for G35

I have a red 2005 GTO, 6mt, 17,800 miles. Everything is stock except for SLP skipshift, spoiler delete and tail lights. I do have the spoiler still. I want to get rid of it for a G35, would anyone be interested in a trade? I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous but I love g35's. I'm looking for a coupe with a manual transmission, color is no problem. Please no negative comments.

g35 is a nice upgrade, a ton more reliable, better fit and finish, nicer car over all.

Not trying to dis GTOs I think they are a pretty sweet car and I am a muscle car guy at heart, I even have a trans am phoenix tattoo!!

would be an even traid with an 04 with lower miles or 05 with some miles on it

If I we were local I'd trade in a heart beat. The only thing that stopped me from getting a GTO in the first place is the price they go for down here. I believe the G35 is somewhat better looking, but that's the ONLY thing the G35 does better imo. Good luck with the trade but I would personally not do it if I were you.

not really both cars have oil burning issues

my bro bought an 04 gto with near 70k on it and it blew a head gasket...i bought my 04 g35 with near 70k and it needed a new motor...as a whole LSX cars are farily reliable

g is a nicer DD i guess, gto is a bit more smile inducing...my bro got irritated with his goat and sold it

I don't want to turn this thread in to something else but I am not saying that there is not some that have problems

The g35 has been a consumer repots best buy every year and now same for the g37
and Infiniti is is the 6th most reliable car brand that is sold in the US.

I would post the whole list but it would be way too long, so heres the top ten

Brand Reliability — Top 10
1. Scion
2. Acura
3. Honda
4. Toyota
5. Lexus
6. Infiniti
7. Subaru
8. Hyundai
9. Mitsubishi
10. Kia

im sure the g will be overall more reliable, but both cars have a history of having their engines replaced for burning oil..so if everything in your car is working aside from the engine I dont think you will be too pleased. the thing is automatic G's don't seem to have that issue nearly as much and the vast majority of cars sold in this country are automatic
