Fair Price for 06?

I just picked up a 2006 White G35 4dr 6mt that has 42000 miles. I have 5 days to turn it back in if I don't want it but I was wondering if 18,995 was a fair price for it. The book says its worth around 19,000 retail and I did buy it from a dealer. Anyone with insight please let me know. I am also under the impression that white manual 4dr G35's are hard to come by, any information (such as production numbers) on that would also be great. Thanks.

Id say its a good price, Def need more details. Around here an 06 AUTO ( good luck finding a 6MT ) they want at the local dealer like 25k for an 06 with like 36k miles.. Yeah good luck on that dealer..

I grabbed what I feel was a steal price ( 06 6MT Sedan 20k miles for 17k ) KBB is like 20 I think. I would say between 17 & 19 is about right. Not sure how pricing is around TX but in NJ prices seem to be higher. I had to locate mine and it took a while.

If its Stone interior id say hop on it. If tan, I couldn't do that to myself totally doesn't do it for me on our cars.

It has the sport package, Stone interior and it is a 6mt (all stock)... I love the car but just wanted to know if it was a fair price. FYI I know that I really lucked out finding it in white and a 6 speed...

id say if youre happy who cares about the price? the price seems reasonable to me.

im assuming you got it from carmax..

take it down to infiniti and start an oil consumption test asap if theres a warranty.

i got my 06 6mt from carmax and i got a new motor 1000 miles later on nissans dime.

I did get it at Carmax... I have read up about this but dont know if my car has consumption issues. I will definitely get on that as I just picked it up Saturday and have no idea what it does pertaining to oil. Does anyone know if the consumption test can be done at a Nissan dealer (since the closest Infiniti dealer is an hour away...)?

^^ it totally depends on the nissan dealer. call and ask them to be sure.

also call infiniti to see if you still have your power train warranty.

Yeah def get it if you like it. 6MT sedans are pretty un-common. I love mine. Can you just take the car to the dealer and ask them to do oil-consumption testing? I just bought my 06 and only just went to the dealer for an oil change.

personally, i took my car to the dealer right after i got it. i told them to start the OC test and they told me they will need to change the oil. i said okay and 1000 miles later i had been approved for a new motor.

back on topic - im not a fan of the willow interior but i must say, the willow with the black console and dash looks pretty sharp. especially on white
