G35 noob, has a question

Hey guys my name is Mike and I'm very very interested in purchasing a G35 right now. My budget is about $16K and I've found a used G35 2004 with 105k miles. It has a rotrex supercharger running 6lbs of boost which worries me though. Is that brand scharger reliable for these g35 motors? Or am I better off buying something cheaper and stock with low miles? He's asking 15,500 and its a very clean well kept car with many other goodies (nav, sound, aero package, brake package, etc). Any feed back will be much appreciated!

I just did a quick cars.com search for 100miles radius from my location and the lowest mileage g35 for that budget range is an 04 Coupe with 60k miles on it. I believe you would be better off with something like that rather then the vehicle you are referring to above. Just my .02

I would personally buy a stock G with the lowest milage possible.
That's a lot of miles especially with forced induction.
Save youself the headache.

Don't buy a G that is modded that much. Go with stock.

When a G is modded that much, you know how the motor was driven.
I have a 2003 G35 Coupe 6MT for sale right now with 128,000 miles. Has a warranty covering most everything from electrical to AC to power train. I'm asking $12.5k with warranty, $11k without...

Deffinitely stock. That way you know what the cars been through. You buy it already modded and you have a whole lot of trouble possibly coming with the car. Forced induction also puts a lot of extra wear and tear on the engine. Just be careful what you get into.

Later,

Ray

I know you're on a budget but keep looking for a G with far fewer miles.
Sometimes buying cars with higher miles/lower price ends up costing you more money in the long run.
And like the above posts....look for stock G's.
Or atleast ones that aren't FI.
