What to look for when buying a used G35, is this a good purchase?

I have made up my mind that my next purchase will be a used G35 or an Acura TL.

I have not driven the car yet, but from the pictures here is what I can tell you about the car.

It doesn't have the keyless ignition, Bose or Navi or memory seats

It does have a sunroof, and heated seats.

I assume this means it is a base model G35x, is that correct?

As you can see the asking price is $17,977 and I have a trade in. We are working on the numbers and I am going to tomorrow to see how close they get, but essentially we were about $1800 off at the first ask.

Is this a good deal?

If the numbers work out, what should I look for on the car? obviously crash damage, should I note anything while I am test driving it?

Looks like it's a fair price for that car since it only has 50K miles. If you can try to bring the price down another grand or two. That car back in '06 probably cost around 35 grand or more because it's an X model. GL with the purchase.

I was able to get the dealer to come down $1400 and they came up $500 on my trade. I opted in for the extended warranty so that I am covered for 4 years and 48k miles from today. I let my wife drive the car home and so far I am very happy with the purchase. The car is decidely a base model G35x it doesn't have telescoping steering wheel, no satalitte radio, etc. However it does have a good amount of get up and go, and it handles very well. I am very happy with my purchase.
