Buying Car -- Help

I used to have 03 infiniti G35. friend of mine , on a rainy day hit the side railing and car is totaled.

I liked infiniti so much , that I am reluctant to go with any other car. My budget is between 16 -18k and looking for a car. I love IP or pearl white. I came across below 2 cars and wondering which one do you guys suggest.

One is from dealer and other by owner:

Other than these cars, I am also thinking to consider FX35 or Murano if I come across some good ones.

First vehicle has accident according to autocheck and price is high in my opinion given the accident. No idea on second since vin is not listed. If you can look out of state in like TX, Missouri and you might save couple thousand. Also DO NOT GET A MURANO...are you crazy. Do you want to have a transmission blow up in your face. THE CVT IS PURE JUNK and the TRANSFER CASE IS ABSOLUTE Sh*T. STAY AWAY FROM MURANO...now the FX is very nice but pricey.

Do you think second one is a deal taken for granted no issues with the Car(Clean Title)

The craigslist deal is nice and seller seems like an enthusiast who maintained it. Keep in mind NO WARRANtY on the car and you might be able to call and get infiniti to sell you one but hard to say with that mileage. The color combo is very rare and sought after with pearl white and black interior. He needs it sold by end of august and owes $15k and is asking $18.8k. Give him an offer for $16,000 and see where he comes back. Get the Vin and I can run a autocheck. I am sure he will not sell it for $16k but just find out what his bottom line price is...towards the end of the month he will get aggressive on price.

This is his reply to my query regarding, extended warranty, VIN.

1. The warranty is covered until 75000 miles, so its pretty much up.. but you can take it to the dealer and pay for an extension. Not sure how much, but i know mercedes covers another 50,000 miles for $2,500. so thats the most you would pay for any car.

vin number is. JNKBV61E87M722910

3. YES, i will negotiate, i need to sell this car within the next month.. i will be leaving for school.

I have a car fax report on the car before i bought it.. it was clean.. but a week after i got the car a lady cracked my headlight and scratch my passenger corner front bumper. I can promise it was nothing serious, i still have the headlight to prove that it was not a bad hit. The only reason why i reported it to the insurance is because the headlight alone cost $1,100, and i have the metallic paint job, so i didn't want to pay That much money from my pocket for such a small problem.
