Thinking of buying a G35 price question

I am talking with someone that is selling an 03 G35 Sedan auto with 134K on it we are at 7K might be able to get him to 6,800. He says he has the service info and seems to know a good bit about the car and has kept it up. I still haven't pulled an auto check but if the AC come in clean just getting input from you guys.

He says he had belt replaced (guessing this is the drive belt seeing as it has a timing chain)
The stereo is already gone (I've read about this on the forum)
Can I replace that with a better unit anyways and be OK on that end?

I have not seen the car yet (going to check it out today) but he did post many good large quality pics.

I went through this forum and wrote down common problems to check out.

I am little worried about the mileage. I had 95 Altima (my first car) I had 210K miles on it no prob when it was totaled. I have a corolla now and was thinking about getting a scion TC but now thinking about the G (which was kinda dream car 7 years ago but now I can afford it).

Any advise would be great!

Also guess I'll add in if this was a tc (Camry engine) I prob wouldn't hesitate at all I am just new to G35. Should I have cold feet about this many miles on this car or be as confident as I am with my Toyota's.

well, i would never buy a car w/ over 100k. I say look for another G w/ under 100k if you can.

Don't assume anything has been replaced. With any used car, records are key to the level of service it received. Paying a mechanic for an independent inspection is good insurance as well. Proceed with caution and don't buy on impulse.

meh, dont doubt the VQ, as long as it was taken care of it will last! I have 187xxx with little problems, I would just compare his car and price(known problems included) with the prices of other Gs in your area and their known problems, or look at the Gs in the classifieds(https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cars-54/) and compare his price w/ those too...
