Need some Buying Advice.
I'm 34, married with two kids.
Gave my wife my CX-7, and took her 2003 Lancer. The Lancer is like an old pet that no one loves anymore. It's 8 years old and we've put all 135k miles on it.
I've decided that I Want an Infiniti G Sedan.
The problem is that I don't know where I Should set my limits on Year, Price, Mileage, etc.
Please Provide some input so I can make a better decision. At first, I had a budget of $25,000, but after seeing how awesome some of the mods make the G Look and perform, I really wanted to cut my budget down so I Would have some money to make the G my own and apply my own individuality to it.
Awaiting your replies.
Thanks.

Your gonna have a great time modding you G if you get it man. Ive had mine coupe for almost 2 months now and i love it and cant stop research stuff for it. As for your questions i wish i could help butttt the only advice i have would be to check kelley blue book to find estimates and find something lower than that unless you can take it to a shop and they tell you its well taken care of.
Also depends on what sedan your looking for if its a g35 or g37 cause price does vary quite a bit. I found my 03 6mt coupe for $10,000 with 97,000 miles from a private seller but i also saw 2006 and 2007 ones that went for $23,000 with about 30,000 or so miles on it. If i were you id get something a little older so i can spend money with modding but thats just me cause i always have the contagious mod bug.
Good luck on your search and happy future modding!

Thanks for your advice.
I have seen some awesome 07's around Houston with less than 50k miles, and even some 2009's with less than 50K miles, but they are more than $25K.
I suppose it all depends on how the car was driven and cared for, but I start to get a little nervous when my vehicles pass the 100K mark.

Yea understandable. I was kinda the same way but all i did was take it to a mechanic that i knew was good overall with cars and Infiniti's and he was able to tell me that it didnt have any current problems. I guess theres really no way to tell if the car has been very well taken care of or not unless theres proof of physical receipts etc. Even an Infiniti dealership can help you out im sure though.
Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for the offer. Your car is nice, and for a 2003, that is low miles, but I do have my sights set on 2008 and above.
