Want to buy a 2005 Infiniti G35. Need advice!!

Hey Guys! I'm new to the G35 world and ready to purchase a 2005 G sedan. It looks great and runs great and has a great price. This would be my first car. The only things, is that this car has 135,000 miles on it. Should I not buy it because of the mileage?

I'll say what anybody will prolly tell you. If the car was properly maintained by the previous owner it will last a lot longer. On the other hand I am not the best at keeping up with my car and it has been basically trouble free since 2007 and I have a 2006 G35x with 165,000 miles on it and it's going tough.. starts and runs good daily!

That's like asking if you should date a 40 year old. You told us nothing about her.

Thats a good one lol Its pretty much stock. Interior is mint and so is the exterior. I love the V6 and its a great car all around. Its Diamond Graphite metallic with a tan and black interior with wood accents. Everything works. The only thing is the mileage. It cost $9900

Sometimes an up kept int/ext are a reflection of the parts you can't see. Do your research. Doesnt seem like a bad price at face value. But there are a lot of unknowns. Research, ask questions, pay attention to the details...

This being your first car and you're probably a kid with limited funds I wouldn't think buying a high mileage car would be the best idea. If one of the high $$ items failed you could be sidelined for a very long time. Even the small stuff on our Infinities can cost a bunch....Gary

Have it checked out by a competent mechanic. If it checks out clean offer $8500 and try to work the price down. Put the money you saved aside for maintenance, a car with 135K is going to need some.

+1 on what he said. I've owned my 03 g35 with 130k miles for a year now and was putting off a simple spark plug change til yesterday. Wow it needed it bad!!! They probably hadn't been changed since the engine was put together.
Lol now my car loves me
