Thinking of purchasing a G35x - advice appreciated

Hey guys, I'm new around here so please forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong section -- had a quick look around and didn't notice anything more fitting.

I've been looking at a 2007 G35x Sedan with 199,000km (123,600 miles) on it. It's listed at $10,000 and is being sold as is by a dealer. They got it on trade-in.

I can't find any other G's in my area and this seems like a good deal, though the mileage is really what scares me. I know some people on this site have ran their G's well over this kind of mileage, but for a new buyer I'm not really sure if it's something I want to get into.

The as is sticker is worrying as well, but I think that's normal for a vehicle with that type of mileage. What else should I ask/be concerned about when considering this vehicle, or should I just find something else?

Here is a link to the ad from the dealer: http://newbrunswick.kijiji.ca/c-cars...AdIdZ457328392

and this seems to be an ad from the owner who tried to sell the car before trading it in:

Any thoughts or input would be appreciated on this matter, thank you!

Well the price is good but the mileage is super high. The HR motor are great but try to find one w/ lower miles. But, that price will be much higher.

The mileage is on the higher side, but that's not a dealbreaker given the pricing. I think what matters most is how it was driven/used and what the maintenance history is for the car. If it was primarily driven by a mature adult driver for predominantly longer (highway) trips, and was given routine maintenance, then it could be in better shape than a car with half those miles which was driven by jonny racer-boy from stoplight to stoplight and received pitiful maintenance. You should be able to find out any (available) maintenance history from an Infiniti delaership (at least you can in the states), and if there is a contact number obtainable from that second link you gave, you might be able to contact the PO and, since he/she no longer has any interest in the car, have a very frank discussion about the car's history (primary useage, known problems, etc.). Good luck
