Anything specific to be worried about/look for?
Hey all, In the market for a G35x, I have my eye on a really clean 06 with 70,000KM (~40k miles). Car appears to be in great shape, Nissan dealer inspected and found nothing major. However, all cars have "known issues" and things to watch out for. What is the g35x's? Thanks.

Mine is 2008
I'd look at tires for uneven wear, check for good strong brakes, and the alignment on a strait road with hands off the wheel.
When I bought mine at 3 years age and low mileage, some said that most performance cars are not good things to buy used. For the G35X, the profile of the average customer has a mechanical interest that goes beyond comfort and the number of cupholders. You can conduct a thorough review by you (get a carfax report, look for accident records, or non-professional repair signs), and if something seems wrong, follow-up with a more in-depth inspection by a reputable mechanic during the selection process.
If you are like me, I was interested in getting a car with "can do" and that meant keeping a watch out for stress on the engine, suspension, and other parts of the transmission system.. Is the All-wheel drive why you're interested in a G35X, too? I got lucky, and you can too. Sometimes you may find a used sports sedan as a performance car that has been treated gently. Good luck.

Nothing major, are those your words or Nissans? You need a CARFAX so you're not buying a "junk yard dog!" Ask to see the service records if they're available, it always good to know how this car was treated in it's life. You could also have an independent shop check it out for a small fee. If it drives/stops like you want then buying it is up to you. Good Luck & enjoy the ride!
