is this a great deal or not ?
I found this car near where I live and inquiry about the oil comsumption issue and this is the response i got :
I got with my Service Manager this morning and discussed your concern about the G35 with him. As I stated last night, it is not an open recall, just a bulletin put out by Infiniti. We did not test this vehicle for the stated issue, simply because it is out of factory warranty, and we as a dealership would not replace an engine IF the vehicle needed it.
After 2 of our Infiniti Certified Technicians drove and serviced the vehicle, neither felt there was any issue with oil consumption or the engine. I do understand your concern, but again we will not be testing this vehicle for the bulletin put out by Infiniti.
Here is the car. Do you think is worth to take a chance ?

Very low mileage for an '05 and looks great. I'd want a CARFAX to know it's history and service records if available. Offer them $19K if everything is clear/clean....Gary
If your main concern is OC maybe it would be worth it for you to buy an Nissan Extended Warranty with the coupe. Don't even consider any other warranty company, they're all "Dishonest Crooks!"

Oil consumption? I had a 04 with no oil consumption issue. Besides if that is your concern then check the oil regularly I'm sure it won't dry up in a day. Check every week or every month and see if it's loosing a lot. If you still have your doubts then don't bother getting it.
