Final TWO deals to chose from?
2004 Infiniti G35 coupe 6 speed (71,xxx & asking price $13,000)
brembo brakes, leather seats, heated seats, iPod integration, catback exhaust, aftermarket air intake.
Owner says no major problems ever really occurred.
Carfax: clean title, but there was an accident on right side of the car. Everything else looks good
price agreed on: $10,300.
2006 Infiniti G35 coupe 6 speed (67,xxx & asking price $16,000)
leather seats, heated seats, bluetooth, navigation, fully loaded. Everything is stock.
Owner says had oil consumption problem (common on rev editions) and got it fixed through infiniti (they changed a block in the engine) and also got the clutch replaced at the same time.
Has infiniti extended warranty till December 31.
Carfax: clean title, no accidents.
price agreed on: $13,700.
Which deal would be more wiser to go with? I am in college for another year and will hopefully be a full time employee after a year and a half or so. Which deal makes more sense financially and feeling more secure? Which deal would you guys go with? I just want to make the safest choice so nothing goes wrong in the near future.

Assuming both cars were properly maintained (I'd look at service records) I'd def go with the 06'.
Updated interior, updated headlights, uprev engine AND you have a new engine...depending on when the engine block was replaced.
BTW, when was the short/long block replaced, how many miles have been put on it since the swap?
Which ever car you decide on obviously have it inspected by a top mechanic before you shell over any cash.

hm. not a good college car, and if you have to pick get the 6. No wrecks, better interior, warranty? Duh.
Unless it's obviously a hot mess, the 06 sounds good.
My opinion: get a four door that's entirely reliable. These cars dont leave you stranded, but the broken lock motors, window motors, bushings, tires, brakes blah blah will make you go broke.
Corolla. Sentra. Civic. These are your friends at this time in your life.
Sorry just trying to share some life advice love.
