Well with your ankle giving you trouble, then sure the AT is a viable option. If you do go through with the trade, look into the Transgo for the new car! If you have a 5AT it is a MUST mod IMO, crisp as heck (especially in manumatic) and really sharpens up the transmission. On a lightly modified '06 coupe the transgo allowed wheel chirps through 3rd gear on 275/35 Yoko S.drives...not too shabby!

I've never driven an auto G but I can imagine what your saying about the sliping clutch. How is the response time when you shift? I've tried numerous cars triptonic but the only car whose response is almost immediately is my brothers 2011 328i.

$205 is a good price

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tr.../make/infiniti

That's the kit normally priced. It lists application as the Jatco 5-spd RE5R05A unsure if that applies to both RWD and AWD.

I've installed transgo kits in other cars. Usually the shift kit, plus a larger trans cooler gave crisper shifts and increased trans longevity.

BTW, in searching for that info, came across a thread listing the Subaru Legacy GT as also having a Jatco RE5R05A. Interesting

How to trade cars with somebody?

I'm trading cars next weekend. Trading my 04 coupe for an 05 coupe and in a little confused on how to go about it. Do we just sign titles over to eachother? Do we fill out bill of sale saying we bought each others cars for maybe $10 or something so the sales tax won't be there? And do we keep our license plates or switch them over?

Every state is different. Go to your local DMV and ask.

Yup. Each state is different. In MA, you would still be required to pay sales tax. The Registry would use book value as well and not what is stated on bill of sale, and you'd pay tax and fees on that.

You should call your local DMV and ask them.
