Question Need advice on which G coupe to buy! Cash!

So I'm in the market for an automatic G coupe.

Located in houston tx

Options:

05 g coupe with 62,000 miles.
Silver on beige.
Clean. Price is $13,000
Clean title

Or 06 g coupe with 88,000 miles
Black on black
Clean. Price is 12,000
Clean title

I've been wrecking my brain on which to buy!!
Should I settle for the 05? It has less miles
Or should I get the 06??
I'll admit that black on black catches my attention more.
However it's got more miles

Which should I purchase????

My G is black on black and its gets hot as ****! I would recommend tan interior if you're in a state that gets relatively hot during the summer. Im in Florida.

Have you driven either one of them? What are the difference in options? Premium/sport/Nav packages. Differences in wheel sizes are other things to consider than just mileage.

I'm partial to black, but would lean towards 06/07 coupes due to the upgraded projector headlamps and rear lenses.

Houston is hot, but tint & sun shades help if you end up going black on black.

The 06 has the sport package.
The 05 is a base model I think

06 for the updated interior as well as sport package. If your going to keep the car long term don't worry too much about the mileage difference

Well I was planning on keeping it for 2-3 years then upgrading.. So mileage is kinda important. I'm really torn right now. I like the 06 tail lights, but can't I just swap the 05 tail lights with the 06? Plug n play? I also like the 06 wing.

I believe the 05 still had brembos? The 06 is a revup which might have the oil consumption problem. But then again it's a high miles car, it's probably taken care of or isn't affected.

If you're going to pay that much money for anything, get your money's worth. Go for the 06, it has more to offer even with more mileage; 88k is not much on these motors plus you'll stand out way more with black than silver.

The 06' due to the projector headlights, updated tail lights, and upgraded interior. Plus the black on black is a nicer look

It does not have brembos
More revups have OC issues but no year G was ever exempt

Do they have spoilers? If so, take the 05. If not, take the 06 for the headlights. The 06 spoiler is ugly as shib. If the 05 has a spoiler and the 06 doesn't i'd go with the 06.
