Purchase advice on 06 G35 Coupe

06 6MT Coupe at around 85000 miles for $10k. Car has a clean title, no listed accidents. Rear bumper will need repainting due to some scratches. Interior is probably a 9/10. Vehicle looks to be in good condition. If my mechanic oks it, is this a good deal? I have tried KBB and edmunds. Edmunds is thousands lower than KBB valuing the car as around 8.5k.
Thanks, and I hope to join the club soon.

Make sure u get the correct kbb price with all the correct options selected. And take note on the retail and private party values. If the pp seller is asking 10k and the kbb value for pp is 8.5k than the sellers price is too high and u can ask them down. Never overpay for a car that someone inflates the price because of its sentimental value to them.

Also, please go thru this website and educate yourself on the car. Make no mistake that this is a sports car and its very needy. Look up things like bushings, ball joints, sensors and how to fix inner tire wear.. Its a great car, but it will need attention and it will cost some money to keep up. Especially if you don't do the work yourself.

Wouldn't hurt to have a auto check done on it. I know from experience car fax does not catch everything. Minds well have the peice of mind by checking with the other company too. Ask them to run the Auto check on it and include it in the price or they pay for it.

thanks for the responses. I know options vary the price a lot. My main issue was the disparity between edmunds and KBB. KBB's lowest price for the vehicle is around 12k in the lowest condition while edmunds is almost 3.5k less for their lowest priced condition for the same car with the same miles. Edmunds best condition still is only around 10k. Thanks again for the input!
