need opinions on buying g35

is it a good idea to buy a 04 g35 c that had its first owner as a corporate fleet car? could it mean it was a leased car? 1st owner drove it 13k miles then there were 2 owners after that 2ND owner had it for 9yrs and 3rd 4months and currently has 65k miles

Fleet car means that is was owned by a corporation and driven by someone that worked there. Think of it as a perk to drive a company car, which isn't necessarily bad or good. Companies normally sell them after a few years.

2nd owner had it a while, miles are low for an 04 but the red flag for me would be the 3rd owner for 4 mos.

May not be bad, but only owning a car for 4 months tells me that there could be an underlying issue that the owner wants to avoid paying for.

I would have it inspected by a mechanic before buying.

Means it was a company car. The "owner" could have maintained it well, or just sprung for the bare minimum as "not my car i don't care..next guys problem"

And i say that as a guy who is leasing a Benz with 3 more months til it goes back. Bare minimum maintainence just to meet my obligations. When it goes back it's the next guys problem.

My G35 that i own gets overmaintained...as it's my problem.
