Hey guys, so I originally wanted an r34, but coming across a g35 it has caught my attention more than the R34 Has.

So anyway, I'm getting my probationary license very soon, in a couple of weeks!
And I'm planning to spend 12.5k on a 2005 model!

which comes with, 82,000 KMS on the clock, AUTO transmission

That's the 2005 model, but if I buy it I might need my mum to pay an extra 5000 for it,
so there's a 2004 model that costs a lot less

http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...-3145304/?Cr=4
which comes with 95,000 KMS on the clock, AUTO transmission

Both of them are 250GT because I'm not allowed to drive a 350GT on my Probationary license.
Anyway, what do you guys recommend I get?
I'm also looking to get bodykits added into the car!

2.5? Never knew they made a 250GT. I like the black one personally.

Hahaha yup, those ones are 250GT, I wish I could drive the 350GT one though.. damn.
Spec wise, would the black be the better choice to make?

Why spend that kind of cash when you'll most likly trade it off for a 350 when you are able to driver one?

The black one is nice for sure. Too bad it is an Auto.

What do you do for a living? Can you afford the cost of this car in the long run?

Haha, yes! Just a bit of advice for the rest of your life:

Don't ever buy an old luxury car unless you LOVE the car.

Set of tires for our cars: $800-1300
Break a headlight?: $500 (for one)
Bust a bumper?: $350 for part, then you have to find someone to paint it.
Can you change your own shocks? If not be prepared to pay around $1200
Wanna put a new OEM seat up front cuz yers is getting beat up? $3400
Want to upgrade your stereo to a nice aftermarket setup? MINIMUM $600; minimum for a real jdm setup with a HU that's decent? $1250; maximum is obviously as far as you wanna take it.

This is NOT a car that you should buy just cuz you can now afford the initial price. The maintenance and modding is still VERY expensive.
