Its not subjective. The later models had multiple upgrades that you are failing to recognize. I doubt I know all of them but what I learned in the 6 years I've been on this forum, I'm glad I purchased an 06 and not an 03/04. Not for the simple fact that its "newer" but all of the minor **** that was upgraded. Originally Posted by ScraggleRock

And why are you bringing up Brembo? Neither of the cars in the OP have them?

No, you can't.Originally Posted by ScraggleRock
I can buy almost all the desirable 06 parts combined (except full interior) for less than a set of nice brembos.

It also boggles my mind that you've been on this forum for 6 years and can't name every "difference" (not necessarily upgrade) between all years.Originally Posted by herrschaft

Also, I will state again that in post #15 you made a generalized statement, non-specifuc to this thread. If it WAS specific to this thread, then I suggest you work on your written English communication skills; take your pick.

I suggest you research the topic before talking out of your @ss. You seriously don't have a clue. My generalized statement holds true in this thread and when comparing the two models in general. But, I need to learn how to communicate because my post didn't agree with a scenario that you decided to fabricate??? A scenario that has nothing to do with with this thread.Originally Posted by ScraggleRock

Again, you're making yourself look like an idiot because you only focus on what you can visually see. Why don't you go through the FSM's between the different years and take note on what all has changed.Originally Posted by ScraggleRock

So, you admit you made a generalized statement, but then insist I remain specific to the thread? I see. Originally Posted by herrschaft

You're right. The 10 less ft/lbs of tq and cheap Chinese piston rings of the Revup are things I can't see that are better than the first gen. Damn. Guess I've been proven wrong again.
Wait... the performance specs (actual performance, not the well known phantom numbers) that never changed throughout the lifetime of the 6mt coupe further prove my point...not yours..sooo..man..less problems and the same or more performance for the regular DE vs the Revup? I'm right again..
Guess I'll just drive around my non-revup with zero oil burning issues AND 10ft/lbs more tq (which anyone who knows about cars knows that tq is more important, and hp/tq equality is even MORE important), brembos, projectors, sport bumper, better spoiler and less miles just so I can wish I was driving a car 2 years newer with..Umm...useless Bluetooth (oh wait, I have better Bluetooth with music streaming.. Guess I don't need that), or a velocity airbox...oh, yeah that's gonna win me the Indy 500.
Or maybe..um...oh!! Real aluminum interior parts that scratch just as easily as the earlier plastic versions!
Damn...OK!! Revised comp rod bushings that I would have replaced with poly anyway!...wait, that doesn't make sense..
Oh, well, I'm sure there may be ONE hidden thing that I'm overlooking which makes the 06 better...only wish I could think of what it may be.

^^^ It doesnt have a revup twat. It has been said 6 times now. Also, 10lbs of tq means about as much as your opinion, jackshit.

^This forum is still good. Just know what you're talking about before engaging in an argument.
As for my generalized statement which still holds true in this thread:
The newer the better!!!

You still don't have a fvcking clue. You don't even seem to understand which engine came in which car, yet you expect members to take what you're saying seriously. If you go through the FSM's like I told you to you would realize there are more differences than what Google tells you. Originally Posted by ScraggleRock

This is the 5th thread in a row where Scraggle has been spouting off completely wrong BS. He has seemed to delude himself into thinking he actually has a clue what he is talking about. Kinda sad to watch. I almost feel bad for him.

black is better than silver. 2 sets of wheels and tires better than one. Revup better than DE. They're both used though, and you get what you pay for, so....
If summer car only you can sell the extra set of wheels, or both and get aftermarket.

I like the black over silver, Revup over DE, 2 wheel sets over 1. you could sell a set of wheels on the 06 if a true summer car, or both and get aftermarket. I'd go with the 06.

Haha like the thread where I asked what part of my shifter broke and you claimed it was one piece and the linkage was broken? Then I took it apart and found that it was 2 pieces. Yeah, man you got all the answers. Yer such a tool.Originally Posted by WhosUrBuddiee
