Hell, about 6 months ago, I paid $12,500 for a 1-owner, full history '07 G35S with 104k miles... so yeah, $8k seems like a good price. What options does it have?

Honestly, even with no options, the price seems a bit low. KBB says around $10,000 for a car like the one in question in "good" condition from a private party, and that's without a warranty. It could just be a really good deal, but I'd certainly take it in for a PPI and give it a thorough look to make sure it hasn't been bent in half at some point or anything like that. How's the interior? Does it have peeling trim on the doors and steering wheel, or has it been replaced?

Ask them if the P0011 gaskets has been replaced. If not I wouldn't buy it unless they lowers the price.

This price seems suspiciously low, even with the warranty. I paid $16,500 for my '08 xS a year ago with 69k. If you proceed, make sure you get a PPI at an Infiniti dealership.

It would if it failed or was shown to be the cause of a failure. But the warranty will not cover its replacement because you want it replaced to avoid a problem.

 

Should be about $150. Best money you ever spent. Is the warranty factory or aftermarket?

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, it may be an awesome deal, but it is always good practice to be cautious when faced with such a potentially good deal.
